Kimberly
Harris holds Master’s Degrees both in Education (MEd) and Clinical
Pastoral Counseling (MS), and is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NBCC).
She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Counseling Education and
Supervision and is a resident in counseling for licensure in the State
of Virginia.
She received her degrees from Harvard University
and Loyola College, which is a CACREP accredited counseling program. Kimberly
is also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
Kimberly works with couples, families,
and individuals, both children and adults. Her background both as an educator
and as a counselor, has had a primary emphasis on helping children understand
and cope with the issues of loss that may stem from divorce, illness, and
death. Prior to working at the Center for Family Counseling, Kimberly was
formerly with Fredericksburg Counseling Services, Family Preservation Services,
and YWCA Domestic Violence Counseling Center of Annapolis, Maryland.
